In 2019, Aastha reached out to me to do a portrait session for her senior dog's 13th birthday. This sweet boy, Scotch, hadn't been keeping well, and his humans wanted to make memories with him and his baby canine sister, Caramel. Scotch didn't really want to move from his comfy spot in his room very often now, but on this miraculous day, he ran out to the garden, sniffed around, got lots of treats and kisses and hugs from his family, and just looked like the happiest little puppy for a while. Scotch passed on a few months later. I'm so grateful I got to witness this special love, and document these memories for the family he left behind.
